This is one of my current comedies. It’s not for everyone, as you must understand Martin’s recent style of humor. That having been said, the DVD is poor.

The transfer is decent, although could have been cleaned up more. Luckily, it’s at least anamorphic widescreen. The sound, while hardly sounding like 5.1, tranquil sounds decent, as i doubt surround sound was on the mind of film makers in 1979. Seriously, it’s not Star Wars.

Extras? Fugetaboudit! NO commentary. NO making-of. NO interviews. Honest one delected scene, trailer, and a tedious ukelele lesson.

The WORST share! There are scenes missing! Perhaps this version of the film is exactly as it was released in the theaters, but i’m too young to know. However, every time i’ve seen it on television, there were scenes not display in this release…such as the several different people requesting donations from the rich Navin Johnson. In this, you only accumulate the Mexican priest. Where’s the guy who needs novel seat covers on his plane? That scene was classic!

You know, this is the SECOND release of this film on DVD, and they call it an “Anniversary Edition.” If they’re going to give it a name like that, they could at least include the sever of the movie with extra scenes added encourage in. Maybe the commentary and a simple 15-minute making-of is asking too grand, but at least give us the material that’s already in the can.

Surreal to the point of silliness, “The Jerk” captured the atmosphere of comedy perfectly in the 70’s. Before Robin Williams broke through to a larger audience on the tall and diminutive shroud, Steve Martin was THE JERK. As dense as a brick, Martin doesn’t so noteworthy as act like a jerk as become one. Opening like a variation on all those Hollywood tales where the hero of our anecdote is down on his luck but soon to be redeemed (of course, this IS a comedy so it’s unlikely he’ll find the redemption we query because, well, that wouldn’t be droll), Navin Johnson (Martin) mentions at the beginning that he was “born a bad sunless child”. Adopted by a dreadful African-American family living in poverty, Navin is terrified to peer that not only is he adopted but he’s always going to be Caucasian and have absolutely no rhythm. Navin discovers he does have rhythm after all (”praise the Lord!”) when he listens to a radio playing dance music from the time. Navin eats his Twinkies, learns the contrast between sh-t and Shinola and hits the road hoping to be rich. Armed with the advice his family gives him (”God bless the working man…and remember never trust whitey!”) . He hitchhikes getting his first slither which takes him to the extinguish of a fence getting about twenty feet away from home. Needless to say, life is more than an adventure for Nathan and his dog Shithead; it’s a vocation.

Receiving a very nice transfer, “The Jerk” looks typical of a film from the slow 70’s with noticeable film grain and while the colors aren’t quite as radiant as I would have concept, they’re acceptable. This is the first widescreen presentation for the film so that’s something to be thankful for. There’s quite a bit of analog debris in the build of dirt (in fact it looks as if this is exactly the same transfer as the previous edition) . The 5.1 remastered Dolby Digital Surround Sound mix has nice presence but (not surprisingly) it doesn’t expend the format particularly well.

In addition to the unusual production notes from the previous edition and theatrical trailer we also accumulate 1 extra and 1 featuring footage lop from the film. “The Lost Filmstrips of Father Carlos Las Vegas De Cordova” is a “continuation” of the film within a film where we ogle Martin play various characters doing things like verbally abusing a plant, dressing a bulldog in a clown suit as the audience cheers and takes pets in a bizarre parody of cock fighting. It’s really footage that was slice from that sequence. “Learn to Play `Tonight You Belong to Me’” includes sections where you can learn to tune a ukulele (something I’ve been dying to learn), play it, play along with the Ukulele Gal and, finally, play along with the jerk himself. It’s bizarre to say the least. The last bit is fair a scene from “The Jerk” where Navin serenades his sweetheart at the beach.

No commentary track from Martin or Reiner. Honestly, you’d consider they were embarrassed by this film! Or, maybe they weren’t asked to do it or wanted too considerable money. While an improvement on the unusual edition of the film, that improved is shrimp at best. The featurettes are pleasurable diversions but the true reason to glean “The Jerk” is that this is the first time it’s been presented in widescreen. The image quality could have been cleaned up quite a bitas there’s quite a bit of analog debris that appears early on in the film. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this unless you’re dying to have the widescreen version of this classic comedy.

Khaled Hosseini’s THE KITE RUNNER was one of those first novels that captured both public interest and the hearts of the many who read this record of childhood unconditional fancy and redemption space against three stormy decades in Afghanistan. Though Hosseini was approached about the story’s adaptation to the mask soon after the unique was published, there seems to have been a urge to salvage the visual create of the poetic new before the audience, a rush besieged by unsuspected political intervention and criticism by the Afghan government. But after seeing the film, this intrigue heightens the intent of those alive to in translating the book to film - writer David Benioff and director Marc Forster.

People may argue both sides of whether or not the dialog be in Afghan languages (Dari, Pashtu,Urdu) with English subtitles or be in English throughout: the choice of using both languages is severely hampered by the decision to site the Afghan translations in an overlay on the hide while the English subtitles are position off the viewing field. A exiguous point, perhaps, but one that makes the first viewing of the film difficult to follow visually. As far as the actors are concerned, the two young lads who were chosen to recount Amir (Zekeria Ebrahimi) and Hassan (Ahmad Khan Mahmidzada) are perfect: closest of friends living in a household where one (Amir) is the son of the master of the house and the other (Hassan) is the son of the grounds and house keeper - a factor that serves to underline class differences that will later become increasingly poignant. The boys are inseparable, reading stories together and flying kites in competitions - each lad specializing in one of those pastimes. But wretchedness crumbles the boys’ victory in the kite flying contest when Hassan is beaten and raped by the town bullies while Amir cowardly runs for safety, deserting his friend. Suddenly the Russians invade and that change factors into the need for Amir and his father to fade to America where Amir is educated and becomes a writer. Twenty years pass. After the topple of Afghanistan to the Russians and subsequently to the Taliban, Amir (now actor Khalid Abdalla) receives a telephone plea from Hassan’s father to return to Kabul. Amir, now married and a successful writer, feels the need to return to amend for his past omission as well as to assuage Amir’s fears. When he arrives in Kabul he encounters a war torn country he no longer recognizes, discovers past secrets as to his and Hassan’s upright identities, and sets out on a scramble to bring closure to a childhood admire and promise. It is a touching record of redemption and the strongest echo of the magic of the original.

THE KITE RUNNER as both unusual and film will appeal to all audiences sensitive to scars that wars leave on children and adults alike. For this viewer the film lacks the intensity of the book in that the time spent with the childhood of the two boys feels secondary to the personal hasten of the adult Amir. But that is not to say the film is less great in the end: the account is one that leaves an trace on the audience that last long past the ending credits. Grady Harp, March 08

I read this book a few years ago and loved it. And, frankly, I was afraid that the filmmakers might end the movie. That amusing anguish of mine clear was heinous though. I know it doesn’t seem possible, but the movie was even better than the book. I mediate that it was because the act of reading allowed me to place the book down and rob it up at a later time. The movie, however, is honest there, in your face, and doesn’t give the viewer any reprieve from the compelling place or the constant tension. I knew the legend of course, and during one of the crucial scenes I found myself crying exact tears even before one particular terrible scene happened. And then I watched it in awe in elephantine living color, sparkling what would happen next and plan that there were no easy answers.

This is the epic of a friendship between two boys in Afghanistan. It starts in the 1970’s before the Communists and before the Taliban. Life was complex enough then even without the poor politics which came later. Amir was the only son of a wealthy businessman and rather alarmed. Hassan was the son of a servant and of a lower class social group. Amir and Hassan shared a deep friendship despite the social differences between them and were a team in one of the mammoth events in their town - a kite flying contest. At the very moment of victory though, there is a tragic act of aggression against Hassan which changes the relationship between the two boys forever. Each of the boys suffers in his possess arrangement. For Amir, it affects his life forever. All of this is position against an historical background of Afghanistan when it was secular and unusual, especially for the upper classes. Women were free to go around unveiled. Books of all kind were available, although, shamefully, boys like Hassan were not taught to read.

Then the world turned topsy turvy. Amir and his father had to skim for their lives and afflict up in California. Amir marries, becomes a writer. And then, now, twenty years later, he receives a call from his father’s friend who has fled to Pakistan. “You must approach abet” is the message. This is the time of the Taliban. Life is obnoxious in Afghanistan. But Amir, now a man, is given the opportunity to do an audacious act. How this all plays out is scary and uplifting and actual. I was sitting at the edge of my seat in the movie theater even though I knew how it would all turn out.

I loved this film. The casting was salubrious. Filmed in California and China, all of the actors seemed to be Afghanistani and the dialog was in Dari, Pashtu, Urdu and Russian as well as English. I particularly liked the performance of Homayoun Ershadi who played the father with wisdom and strength even when his fortune was reversed and he worked at a convenience store in California and sold merchandise at a flea market on weekends. There is a sense of authenticity throughout. Mostly, though, it was the theme that drove the film, a universal theme of sin and redemption and how a person can have a second chance to go from cowardice to courage.

I live in Novel York City and the film opened in one of the art theaters. This might mean that it may never go mainstream. If this is apt, it is a shame. The film was a winner all the diagram. Yes, it is disturbing and might objective haunt your dreams. Clearly, it is for adults only too. In spite of all the dread though, it ends with an exciting and uplifting ticket. Don’t miss this very necessary film. I give it my very highest recommendation.

This DVD comes with my 20 month venerable daughter’s all time accepted ‘Barney’s Musical Scrapbook’. They have REALLY packed in the entertainment in this DVD. Lots of bonus features!

I had never actually watched Barney before this was given to my 18 month traditional son. He loves watching videos and he loves this one the best. He will sight this video straight through, sometimes sitting mesmerized in front of the TV. I don’t attach this on unless we have time to peep it to the slay because he gets upset if I turn it off. This is colossal when I’m trying to earn dinner on the table. Sometimes I concern though that he is a slight bit too captivated by watching this video. What is it about Barney that is so lively? I only let him examine it every few days but it is a winner every time. I like this video because the characters are warm and genuine and lisp superior values while having lots of fun and singing and dancing. The songs are very catchy and I know the words to them all now. Overall, a very suited video.

Homosexuality in the Muslim World

Amos Lassen

Buy,Download, Or Stream A Jihad for Love! Click Here

Most of us are aware that it is illegal to be satisfied in the Muslim world. Homosexuality is very great underground and because of that we know very tiny about it. Indian director Parvez Sharma has made a documentary that exposes what is going on in the Muslim countries with regard to the pleased stammer. Sharma, himself, is both a devout Muslim and a homosexual and therefore his film is deeply personal. His fable is a heartbreaker and as he tells us how he had been ostracized as a delighted man, he further shows that as a Muslim living in America, he became treated unfairly as a Muslim after 9/11.

The film challenges not only intolerance toward satisfied people in the Muslim world but intolerance toward Muslims in the Western world. Sharma spent six years working on the movie and filmed in twelve countries and in nine languages and managed to catch over four hundred hours of film. What Sharma found is extraordinary. He found a thriving, secretive cheerful community in Saudi Arabia and changing attitudes toward homosexuality in both Turkey and India. He also found that, in Egypt, it is possible to be overjoyed, if one lives within the regulations of being secretive and underground. Homosexuality is tolerated in the Muslim world as long as people are not commence as long as politics and social identity are not fraction of the person’s life.

I can imagine what a hard job it was to accept the trust of the people who are interviewed in the film and appear with concealed identities, blurred faces, or in silhouette. The fact that he is Muslim unquestionably helped.

The film is one of both dignity and despairs and is a compassionate peek at devout Muslims who struggle to reconcile their religion with their sexual preference. It is fascinating to mark that only one single short passage in the Koran says that homosexuality is a crime punishable by death but even that is questionable by scholars who say that the prohibition may actually deal with rape and not with relations between consenting adults. Even with this some 4,000 people have been attach to death in Iran for alleged homosexual acts since 1979.

Sharma feels that his religion has been depicted as a faith of violence when in conclude it is not but it seems from what we glance in this film that the violence against happy people illustrates what Sharma calls the “high jacking” of his religion.

The movie does not offer solutions. It gives us a portray of what is and does not present grand hope for change. It could be the film that brings about change as happened with Sandi Dubowski’s “Trembling Before G-d” inspect of satisfied and lesbian homosexual Jews. There was a small change in understanding and that is better than none at all.

Director Parvez Sharma spent more than five years traveling throughout the Muslim world and interviewing lesbians and contented men about their life, their faith and their fears as followers of Islam. The results are enlightening, heart rendering and, at times, ghastly. Like the documentary about delighted people in the Orthodox Jewish world, Trembling Before G-D, A Jihad For Treasure restricts itself to the paradox of religious followers of a faith that seemingly rejects their existence. Of course, the penalty for homosexuality is far more severe in countries ruled by Sharia law, but it is extraordinary to study and learn how the faithful deal with what must seem like overwhelming obstacles in simple things that glad people in the Western world purchase for granted.

I learned quite a bit from this film that I was previously unaware of, such as the fact that Turkey, although overwhelmingly Muslim, has no laws forbidding homosexuality, and attitudes there concerning homosexuality have always been more relaxed than other parts of the Muslim world. I also was under the groundless impression, as many Westerners are, that jihad means “Holy war”. It actually means “struggle”. Thus the film’s title is quite grand, and because the film’s creator / director is himself a member of the Muslim faith, the film exudes an aura of self-assured confidence, familiarity and respect for its subject matter that many documentaries cannot hope to carry out. In unusual Pakistan, of all places, the Sufi sect celebrates the adore of a 16th century poet and Sufi saint, Shah Hussain, for a Brahmin boy named Madho Lal. Each year on his urs (death anniversary) their appreciate is famed through ritual dances held in the shrine reach the tomb of the two lovers. The scenes of Muslims dancing and celebrating this appreciate are jarring, and totally at odds with what many in the West have approach to inquire of from the Muslim world.

One of the most striking things about this documentary is how Mr. Sharma managed to secure the men and women interviewed in the film to openly talk about themselves, although most of their faces are not shown. Even though a ecstatic Muslim himself, it must have been very difficult to collect their trust. More striking detached is the devotion to their religion that these people tranquil have, and one disagreement with Western culture is how stop they level-headed are to their parents, and how accepting their fundamentalist parents seem to be, despite the cultural and religious taboos against same-sex treasure. That is to say, many of the delighted people profiled in the film are unruffled terminate to their families, whereas in Fundamentalist Christian families, many blissful children are rejected by their parents completely. There is even a amazing segment where a Turkish lesbian brings her partner to meet her mother.

There is also a scene where a South African Muslim confronts an Imam, and tells him that the verse in the Qur’an which condemns homosexuality (there is only one, outside of the narrative of Sodom & Gomorrah) is start to interpretation. The Imam responds that the only section of Muslim law about homosexuality that is initiate to interpretation is the severity of the punishment to be inflicted. Such complete close-mindedness will not surprise anyone who has ever tried to argue elated rights with a Christian fundamentalist. It has long been my notion that one of the most severe problems with homosexuality and Islam is that the Muslim religion has no central leadership, in that almost anyone who is a member of Islam can search for to be an Imam and so become a spiritual leader and recognized as an authority on the Muslim religion and what it teaches. As such, many of the leaders of the Islam faith are those who are most fundamental in their interpretation, although the term Imam itself differs completely depending on whether one is a Sunni or a Shiite, the two largest sects in Islam. This documentary is extremely eye-opening, shedding light on what heretofore has only been a dusky world of isolation and self-hate. It is positive to engender discussion among Westerners, and may even result in some dialogue within the Muslim world. And at least that’s a open. Highly recommended.

Episode 52, A Demon’s Suitable Nature is the most sharp of the three episodes, particularly after the very disgusting moth-demon is disposed of. Half demon Inu Yasha gives a explore of what he really would be like if he were to fulfill his quest to become a chunky demon, and suffice to say it isn’t aesthetic, and the body count is high. He pretends to be gallant about it afterwards, but Kagome’s “Don’t kid yourself” and the dialogue that follows is some of the most just and spirited of any episode. This one impartial gets better and better as it continues.

The next two episodes, 53 and 54, dwelling the tone for a number of future episodes, which is both top-notch and awful. The musical catch gets increasingly rich, and the animation is as edifying as ever. We also score to salvage out about the demon-dragon, or dragon-demon, Ryukotusei, that appears in the end-credits along with Inu Yasha’s brother in a number of early episodes. But what unfolds is fairly predictable. It boils down to another “what novel elegant thing can we design Inu Yasha’s sword Tetsusaiga do”. Ok ok, wind scar, backlash wave, we secure it already, it’s one great sword. Inu Yasha will emerge signficantly more great than he was before. The expect is, is he now more great than his father, or does he yet have to conclude more?

The new elements that made the series so entertaining, the Arch Demon Naraku, Sango’s dinky brother, Inu Yahsa’s lost fancy Kikyo, even Kagome’s family, all seem to have mature into the background while more and more second-rank antagonists, allies, and others appear on the scene. Even the quest to retrieve the shards of the sacred jewel seems to have lost considerable of its importance. Unruffled, it is always bewitching, visually entertaining, the sound is gargantuan, and the characters well-rounded. For episode 52 especially, it’s worth the heed.

Box shroud is a bit of a departure, in that you have only Inu Yasha, no Kagome or other characters, unprejudiced Ryukotusei. Extras, as always, are fairly minimal.

I’d say “The Demon Within” episode is the first of the third season cause Adult Swim showed this episode first to commence modern episodes. Inuyasha is fighting this great moth dragon like demon named Ryukotsugei, the same demon Inuyasha’s father imprisoned long ago. It was the last time that Inuyasha had transformed into his elephantine demon blood when he was fighting the ample monster once Inuyasha grab his Tetsusagia he changed encourage into a half demon then for the first time he learn the backlash wave then the defeated the monster. He also learn how to consume the windscare anytime he wants. And his swoard got lighter.

The box itself is the same as the DBZ sets, although it is a few millimeters longer vertically, so it doesn’t sit flush with the DBZ sets on a shelf. The booklet inside has some character biographies and short episode summaries. There is no “About the Transfer” blurb on the benefit of the booklet as there was on the help of the DBZ dwelling booklets.

The transfer on here is elegant noteworthy on par with the DBZ remasters. Not a lot of spots or scratches to be found. There isn’t any evidence of compression here even though they squeezed 34 episodes on 5 discs instead of the usual 6, so I was impressed. You are unable to switch the visuals to the novel Japanese, so you’re stuck seeing the “amusing” Funimation episode titles.

The standard audio track is the 5.1 English dub with fresh Japanese audio, and they remade the opening track. Instead of the homely rap track they originally made, they had Vic Mignogna stammer the unique Japanese track in English. Even if you switch the audio track to the US broadcast version, you will unexcited hear this remade track. The rap version is nowhere to be found. The Japanese track is in mono as always.

Extras (on the 5th disc) are splendid sparse, following the unusual DBZ box sets. You can perceive spruce opening and ending videos as well as some trailers for upcoming releases, although they are a itsy-bitsy dated. The Dragonball Z trailer is for Season Seven, which released last month. You’d assume they would consume the most unusual trailer for Season Eight instead.

The spot includes episodes 1-34 (Gloomy Star and the majority of the Baby sagas), so it encompasses all of the “Lost Episodes” that were originally released out of order. The next box situation, featuring SS4 Gogeta on the front, will include the last half of the series as well as the special “A Hero’s Legacy” to wrap up the series. No release date was shown on the trailer.

First, Charlie fails to make anything profound out of the cloud formations above, just a “ducky” and a “horsy.” (But that’s always been one of his best qualities–he calls them as he sees them.) Then he has a disastrous kite experience, followed by further humiliation on the baseball field (with its dandelion-covered pitching mound). Just when it seems as if things couldn’t get much worse–they don’t. Charlie finds something he’s good at. Lucy, Violet, and the rest of the IPeanuts/I gang doubt that his spelling bee winning streak can possibly last, but Charlie proves them all wrong and makes it to the national championships in New York City. There are even a few lessons to be learned, but the tone is never preachy or condescending. Along the way, there are numerous pleasures to enjoy: Vince Guaraldi’s classic Oscar-nominated score (featuring lyrics by Rod McKun), the brightly hud, clean-lined animation (which occasionally erupts into impressionist and pop art flights of fancy), Schroeder’s lovely rendition of Beethoven’s IPathetiqu Sonata/I, Snoopy’s ice-skating escapade at Rockefeller Plaza, and Linus’s Fred Astaire-inspired dance with his long lost blanket. After the success of films like The Road Warrior and Dash From Fresh York you got a lot of rip off films from around the world, most notably Italy. Made on lower budgets with b-grade actors and sets, these films are not ‘good’ in the broken-down but rather fun and cheesy takes on the new better films. So, if you are looking for top class Sci-Fi then these films aren’t for you. But if you are in the mood for some cheesy fun rather than high art then these films are for you.

All three films have got valid, widescreen anamorphic transfers. You also obtain interviews with members of the cast as well as audio commentaries on two of the films featured. All in all, the films will never gawk better and time was obviously spent to smart up the transfers and provide some gripping extras.

A must for anyone who has a passing interest in Italian ‘cheese’ cinema.

Here is another position from Media-Blasters featuring 3 Itlaian cult classics. Media-Blasters is really making a name for themselves with the movies they establish out. They cater to fans of cult cinema.

First up we have 2019: After the Tumble of Recent York directed by Sergio Martino going under the name Martin Dolman. 2019 is a microscopic bit of Excited Max, but a lot more Race From Unique York.

Cult actor Michael Sopkiw is radiant worthy playing Kurt Russell’s Snake Plissken. I have to admit I really like Michael Sopkiw, he may not be known to the mainstream public, but for those who do know him glean him tantalizing.

Sergio Martino at one point made some honorable Giallos I wonder why he started doing knock off films? 2019: After the Plunge of Unusual York is a fun movie no doubt. We have some unpleasant F/X, which really add to the charm of the flick. Not a broad movie, but damn fun. With Michael Spokix and George Eastman in the same movie that means fun.

1990: Bronx Warriors was directed by Enzo G. Castellari and it’s quite positive this was inspired by The Warriors. To be quite unbiased I found 1990: Bronx Warriors rather lifeless.

There impartial wasn’t enough action and lets face it a movie like this needs that. 1990 has it’s moments, but more than often it’s honest too dead. The highlight is Designate Gregory who plays Trash. What’s the deal with the method he walks? Rather humorous.

Fred Williamson appears as does cult actor George Eastman.

And finally we have The Original Barbarians again directed by Enzo G. Castellari, which again stars Fred Williamson and George Eastman (is this guy huge or what? ) .

The Original Barbarians is fairly decent, but it fair doesn’t work in my conception. Worth watching at least once, but besides that there is no hasten to recognize it again.

I fancy 80 Italian cinema and for those reading this I prefer you do as well. In that case you might like the state or you may not. I fancy these kind of flicks, but I unprejudiced didn’t really be pleased these movies except for 2019: After the Drop of Unusual York.

Like all of Media-Blasters sets it’s cheaper to grasp the space than any of the movies on their bear.

As I stated before I appreciate 80s Italian cinema, but this position unprejudiced didn’t do it for me. But it wasn’t a total raze due to 2019.

I bought this expecting a limited allotment of history and documentary about an obscure TV point to in NY City. What I got was a very little fragment of broadcasting history about a very rude and selfish man whom my Grandfather might have arrested plot encourage in the day when he was one of NY’s finest.

I’m all for freedom of speech, and I’m delighted things like this could be made. However, fair b/c it can be made doesn’t mean I have to delight in it. I’ll withhold it around honest for my archives, but I doubt I’ll ever observe it again.

I’ve watched the whole series a few months ago when it first aired on cable. I have to say that no matter how many times it was replayed, I never got sick of watching it. The simplicity of this series is something that shouldn’t fool you to assume that it is lame or boring; it doesn’t have any cute or wintry flashy characters, swordfights, magic spells, romance and comedy. The characters are simple in appearance yet their emotions give them plenty of personality, to the point that you open to feel for them as the tale progresses. The spot is beautifully written and makes the quite lacking animation seem fluid. Even if the note seems to have designs similar to primitive classic cartoons, this note is definitely not for children, as it shows quite an amount of violence and touches topics such as killing, torture and even rape. The series is short and the whole epic leaves you wondering in the end; and that is what makes it special.

This is a Vast anime. I admit that I was at first wretched by the very simple and somewhat goofy looking character designs (what can I say, I like gorgeous things) . Even more so when I read a review about it that was far from encouraging. my, how misleading first impressions can be.This point to touched me deeply. The characters have so grand emotion and life that they feel actual to you. The situations that these people are in are enough to develop wanna jump in and effect them yourself. The Yarn is about a very blissful and optimistic boy named “Shu”. He accidently gets transported to a mysterious world while trying to effect a fresh friend. There he gets mixed up in the crazy problems of this warring world and is subjected to intense torture. This present greatly focuses on the exercise of severe physical abuse to pronounce the soldiers fighting in this world, most of them detached mere children. The leader of them all is a blubbering, crazy king, who I gain to be one of the most exciting anime characters I’ve ever seen. The background art and expend of color and lighting is absolutely breathtaking as well. This is a series that will never leave you bored or feel as if it’s too long. It is a display definately worth puchasing.
